Natural beach: Binimel-là
Binimel-là is a horseshoe-shaped bay backed with dunes and a wetland.
It is 400 metres long and 55 metres wide.
The sand is large grained with pebbles and you can get a reasonable breeze and swell on this northern beach.
You have two options of getting there:
Either go through Es Mercadal and take the road to Fornells which is 15 kilometers up north.
At the roundabout with two dancing figures in the middle, some 2 kilometers before Fornells, there is a small paved road to Cap de Cavalleria and then to Binimel-la.
Or:
Follow the Camí de Tramontana that starts in Es Mercadal. This is a narrow paved road winding through the countryside.
There is a car park at Binimel-là and a restaurant above the beach.
If you wish to go to Cala Pregonda, you will have to leave vehicle here and continue walking another 20 to 30 minutes.
