The small (60 m long x 10 m wide) and rocky beach of Cala Barril is located on the northern coast of Menorca, 12 kilometers from Es Mercadal, with Cala Pregonda on the east and 1 1/2 kilometers from Cala en Calderer on the west.
It has no facilities.
The bird protection area, Illes Bledes is right across.
