This sand beach is 30 meters long and has an average width of 35 metres.
Cala des Degollador, also known as Sa Platja Gran, is one of Ciutadella‘s urban beaches, just 10 minutes away from the Plaza del Borne.
The beach is situated between Port de Ciutadella and Punta des Gegant, just opposite Ciutadella's open-air swimming pool on the other side of a bridge.
You can also reach it following the boardwalk from the Sant Nicolau castle.
The inlet is 500 metres in depth, but narrow and rather small. The beach is sandy and has calm water.
The local regulations do not allow pets on beaches!
